KeSEMaT UKM with Myriad Achievements 1: National Achievements
KeSEMaT is a Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty Student Activity Unit (UKM – F) with a myriad of achievements. Best UPK FPIK UNDIP 2015 and winner of the 2015 FIMA Award Category Outstanding Student Affairs UPK in the Field of Science and Conservation from BEM FPIK UNDIP not only performed well in the FPIK environment but KeSEMaT also performed well in a scope outside the faculty, proven in 2011 KeSEMaT won an award from the Chancellor Diponegoro University as a National Achievement Student Activity Unit. Not only performing internally, KeSEMaT also has achievements at the national level.
In 2007, KeSEMaT won the prestigious Adibakti Mina Bahari award at the Central Java Province level as the Founding Person of the Coastal Environment in the category of Non-Governmental Organizations. Another achievement is the 3rd Winner of Adibakti Mina Bahari 2011 at the National level in the Coastal Sector category of Community Groups from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia. Adibakti Mina Bahari is the highest award from the government of the Republic of Indonesia through the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries which is given to the Indonesian people in order to increase motivation, contribution, participation of stakeholders and technical implementation units in increasing the productivity of economic activities, developing fisheries business, and preserving fish resources as well as environment. This award is a special award, because KeSEMaT is the only student organization that has won the 2011 Adi Bakti Mina Bahari award from the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia. In 2012 KeSEMaT also won 1st place at the National level organized by KOMPAS KAMPUS Jakarta representing Diponegoro University (UNDIP) Central Java and at the same time representing the MANGROVER community throughout Indonesia. Not satisfied with one achievement every year, KeSEMaT again won the 2012 Coastal Award for Academic Category from the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia. The organization that makes Mangrove as a Lifestyle “Mangrove is Lifestyle” again scored an achievement in 2014 by becoming one of the Best and Most Inspirational Communities in Indonesia, the version of Jawa Pos, written in Rubric: Young, Can and Together. Another prestigious achievement is the KEHATI Award VIII for the Tunas Lestari Kehati Category in 2015. This award is a token of appreciation from KEHATI for agents of change in the future who can become a real example of how biodiversity can provide welfare for the community. It did not stop there, KeSEMaT was also awarded the Soegondo Djojopoespito Award as the National Achievement Youth Organization in the Category of Student Organizations from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia in 2015.
In accordance with the adopted principle, namely that there is no time off to protect the environment, KeSEMaT also never fails to win awards. In 2017, KeSEMaT was named 1st Winner of the 2017 Wana Lestari National Nature Lovers Group (KPA) which means the best nature lovers organization in Indonesia. In the same year, KeSEMaT also won 1st place in the Nature Lovers Group in Central Java for its work in saving the mangrove ecosystem (AR).
